Old drawing

Lately I've been rediscovering the art of sketching, which requires even less time than watercolor! Soon finals will be over and I'll have time to paint but as for now I'm very much enjoying drawing for a change. Now I don't claim to be good at it, in fact one of the reasons that I haven't done it in a long time is because I'm awful and I hate looking at the thing on the paper when it doesn't match what's in my head, but I'm going to use this current enthusiasm to get some practice in. I dug this old sketch out of an old sketchbook from about two years ago. I think its fitting in this season to remember the important meaning of Christmas- Christ himself. This was a very technical drawing as far as proportions go, but it was done on cheap paper unfortunately. One of the few that I plan on hanging on to, I'm happy with how it turned out. Sorry the scan isn't the best quality.
