Wall Plant
Unfortunately I only had time to paint on one of the two canvases I took down to St. George, but I took some pictures so I can work on a larger landscape here at home. This is a planter on the front porch of my grandparents house. When we went down three weeks ago I saw this and knew I needed to paint it. I checked out a few really good painting books from the library and read them during our drive and I was excited to try out some new ideas. I really like how this turned out, especially the pot and shadow.
I've also made a lot of progress on the canvas on my easel that I started before the trip and its shaping up nicely too.
