Painting 'en plein air'...ish

Part of my preparation strategy for finals includes lots of painting... might be too much actually. I hate to have more than one painting in progress at a time but right now I have three.  The latest was a quick thing that I painted for my wife while she was at work. I got an empty glass Coke bottle and grabbed a dandelion while I was taking the trash out. Then I set it up on our back wall and arranged my make-shift easel balanced on a chair. Then I painted in the same position for a little over an hour with changing light, curious bees, and a dangerous wind. It was fun and hard, and then I touched it up inside the next day. Its another mirror image but it kind of helps to look at it this way- gives me a new perspective.
