Aguacate

This is what happens when I leave a painting sitting on my easel for a week or two. It gets to the point where I almost dread trying to finish it, it keeps me from painting. I have to scrape my dried palette and try to remix the same colors (not possible). So today I trudged through this one and after stepping back to take a look, I attacked the canvas with my hands, smearing it until reasonably satisfied.  I didn't even bother letting it dry or taking it outside to take a picture. Good news- now there's nothing stopping me from starting a new painting.

  1. If this is the result from "trudging and then attacking" I would hope that there will be many more trudging attacks in the future! This painting is amazing!
