Mannequin
I finally got a chance to do a painting in pretty much one sitting, with just a break for dinner before I put the finishing touches on. My lovely wife has an obsession with mannequins, "cute ones- not the creepy ones" according to her. So we have this wire frame mannequin hanging on our living/family/only room wall. I looked up one day and thought 'I should paint that'. So i did. And I like it. I liked having a simple subject. My favorite part was priming the background tan and letting it show through the white on the cinderblocks. Yes cinderblocks, we live in a jail. So this one was another surprise for my wife when she got home from work.

I'm so glad you surprise her a lot :) You're a good husband. Nice job again! I like the ribbon around the middle.
